President-Presides at all meetings -Appoints standing and special committees -Assists troupe director with the supervision of troupe activities -Will help plan troupe activities -Will be present at, or has a representative at all troupe activities. -Student liaison to theatre boosters -Helps to direct strike -Leads the Theatre advocacy committee -This position is for seniors only |
Senior Vice President-Presides in absence of the President. -Assists and helps complete other officers’ work assignments if needed. -Leads Events or Social Committee. -Helps in the induction of new members, including in the collection of induction materials -Assists costume crew and verifies completion of strike in the dressing room. -This position is for seniors only |
Junior Vice President-In absence of President, assists SVPs in presiding. -Works with President to help lead troupe. -Serves as the Troupe’s Student State Board Member to State Thespian Festival. -Takes over for lower positions when needed. -Leads Thespians in Service Committee. -Assists in the scene shop during strike. -Checks in with Shop Foreman (or Tech Director in Absence of Shop Foreman) to bring tech needs to the Officers. -Verifies and confirms completion of tech inventories throughout the year. Discrepancies are reported to troupe director. -This position is for juniors only |
Sophomore Officer (Sophicer)-Will serve as the representative for all Freshman and Sophomore students and brings the concerns of these students to the officers. -Assists the props crew during strike and confirm props completion. -Leads a new student and recruitment committee. - Cleans and maintains the student side of theatre office at least once a month. -Services as a member of the student state board member for state thespian festival. -This position is for sophomores only. |
Secretary-Keeps records and minutes of all meetings. -Maintains attendance and points for all meetings and activities. -Maintains Thespian Points record system -Keeps the points records of all activities including plays, production dates, casts, crews and work accomplished as provided in the official point system. -Leads Secretary, Correspondence, and Points Committee. -The person holding this position should have a solid grasp of the English Language. |
Webmaster/Historian (Webstorian)-Assists in updating and creating posts for the Olathe North Theatre internet and social media presence and makes sure the posts meet a high quality standard that is in keeping with the ideals of the troupe and department. -Assists in updating both the public and sheets versions of the Google Calendar. -Creates a presentation celebrating the year that is presented at the End of the Year Theatre Awards. -Forms and leads the Webstorian Committee. |
